After a day at LX Factory - industrial architecture, creative energy, crowds - there's something fitting about walking into a quiet, intimate dining room and letting someone else take care of the evening.

Downunder is small. Twenty seats. The kitchen is open - you can watch the crew work. The menu is tasting-menu only, which means the chef controls the experience from start to finish.

The tasting menu format works particularly well after LX Factory because it's a complete reset. No decisions to make. No menu anxiety. Just sit down, trust the kitchen, and let the courses arrive. Kangaroo tartar with truffled caviar. 36-hour pork belly with lime caramel. Each dish builds on the last.

The LX Factory to Santos Route

The Sunday LX Factory market runs from roughly 10:00 to 18:00. Handmade crafts, vintage clothing, food stalls, live music. It's a scene. Worth experiencing once, but expect crowds.
